Project

Midstad Frankfurt

The Weltstadthaus, built in 1988 and previously a single-use property located at Zeil 71-75, will be transformed into a multifunctional building over the coming years while remaining operational. This new space will combine shopping, leisure, work, dining, entertainment, sports, culture, commercial apartments, and education under one roof. The main tenant, Peek & Cloppenburg* B.V. & Co. KG, Düsseldorf, will remain one of the anchor tenants after the renovation.

With Midstad Frankfurt, we are demonstrating how urban spaces can be revitalized through innovative and flexible utilization concepts. Our goal is to revitalize urban centers with multifunctional buildings that can flexibly adapt to the changing needs of downtown visitors and users. This design embodies this approach and illustrates how our cities can be revitalized through innovative architecture and needs-based utilization concepts. Midstad Frankfurt will make a significant contribution to the transformation of the downtown area.

* There are two independent Peek & Cloppenburg companies with headquarters in Düsseldorf and Hamburg. This information relates to Peek & Cloppenburg B.V. & Co. KG, Düsseldorf, the building locations of which can be found at www.peek-cloppenburg.de/stores.
