Project

Midstad Vienna Mariahilferstrasse

Since 1900, the current location of Midstad Vienna on Mariahilferstrasse has been a place of commerce. The era of Viennese department stores began right here. The registered historic Herzmansky façade, which lends the exterior of the building a special touch, draws the eye in. Three new atriums have been cut into the modern interior of the building, creating a bright atmosphere. The remodelling will take place without disrupting operations. The shops of Peek & Cloppenburg B.V. & Co KG, Düsseldorf and the Benetton store will remain open. The rear of the building will be self-sufficient and converted into a hotel with 171 rooms and dining facilities.

* There are two independent Peek & Cloppenburg companies with headquarters in Düsseldorf and Hamburg. This information relates to Peek & Cloppenburg B.V. & Co. KG, Düsseldorf, the building locations of which can be found at www.peek-cloppenburg.de/stores.
