Midstad Berlin Schlossstraße

A building complex with tradition and history in the heart of the capital is getting ready for a comprehensive revitalisation. The existing building, which will be used as the basis for the new Midstad property, was built back in the 1950s and has been continuously updated. With a versatile mix of office, retail and long-stay flats, the building will attract a wide array of target groups. Peek & Cloppenburg B.V. & Co KG, Düsseldorf* will remain the tenant of the lower floors and the shop will remain open throughout the renovation. Two green roof terraces offer an unobstructed view of Steglitz and Berlin. On the ground floor, a sanctuary is being created to include an integrated café with outdoor seating that invites people to linger and creates a variety of meeting spaces. Mobile and central: Midstad Berlin is paving the way for the future with sheltered bicycle parking spaces and e-charging stations. As part of the planned remodelling measures, the aim is to achieve BREEAM certification of "excellent" for the existing building.
